LAPOUTRE is a coaching and consultancy company with a significant track record assisting its clients with coaching (both for teams and individuals), training, management consultancy, change management and interim- & process management. We have completed projects for government agencies, in the public domain and in the corporate sector. LAPOUTRE distinguishes itself with our result-oriented approach on both process and content level.
LAPOUTRE was founded in 1991 by Michel La Poutre. Michel is the driving force behind the company, but regularly works with a number of experienced partners where necessary to bring projects to a successful conclusion.

About Michel La Poutre, the driving force behind LAPOUTRE

Michel La Poutre has a BA in economics and holds a MSc in business administration. He has a long and successful track record as an interim manager, board advisor, process manager and trainer/coach in the public and private domain.
Michel likes to inspire and stimulate people, with the aim for them to learn to fulfill their potential and make better use of their possibilities. He pushes people to take responsibility, to become more aware of their own thoughts, feelings and actions, to perform better and to have more fun. He encourages people to make the best contribution to their organization or team based on their own strengths.
Michel does this in various roles: as an interim manager, advisor or coach at an organizational level or individually. But always on the basis of clear agreements, with an eye for the organization and the individual. And always driven, in cadence, with integrity, personal, concrete.
From the start of his career, Michel has done many short and long assignments at various governmental organizations and municipalities. Furthermore, he has a track record running and advising many national and international transformational projects in Dutch and international business environments. He worked in sectors like financial services, oil and gas, water, trade, transport and ICT. He is an expert in leading organizations, teams and professionals towards a measurable and lasting higher level of performance.
